I'm a vegetarian black bean soup

I find that as I define others I'm actually defining myself. Living in the midwest with all it's differences to the west has taught me things about myself that I never knew.

I'm not as conservative as I thought. Politically I tend to be fiscally conservative, but socially more liberal. I'm quite tolerant of people's eccentricities. I down play my accomplishments, talents and skills so as not to appear superior. I would rather be perceived as stupid then conceited. I now get colds in the fall. I need variety. Warm winds make me feel invigorated. I like to exercise and want to live a healthy life. I feel safe here because there seems to be less need for competition and appearances. I like down to earth people. I'm not a yogurt person and I miss Jamba Juice a lot.

  1. I have to admit that I have been blog stalking you for a long time, so a while back when I went to check your blog and it was locked, I was sad. I am still a little unsure what happened with the blog change, but I was happy to find this blog linked to Janette's. I love your wit, pictures, and perspectives, and I am happy to be able to have them accessible again.

  2. Did you know you can buy Jamba Juice smoothies in the frozen section? All you do is put the mix in a blender and whirl away!
