Fright Night!

I sort of love halloween. I'm not much into candy or treats, but I love dressing up! Every year I think 'Am I too old?' or 'If I try will it look like I'm being too enthusiastic?' But, I always come to the conclusion that I don't care. I can't help it, the urge is too strong. I decided this year I was going to be an owl. You could say the dress was calling out to be made into a bird with its feather like print. David wanted to be a mummy again, which is pretty much the easiest costume needing only ripped fabric and safety pins. This year was also our first non-mormon halloween. We went to our ward party and then after went to the law/med school party. Yeah, they couldn't have been more different. One involved children running around and home baked desserts. The other had a lot more exposed skin, loud music and buckets of beer. College life away from BYU always involves a lot of free alcohol. I've been experiencing a bit of culture shock. Drunk people are not funny.
