3 MONTHS

Time goes so much faster with a second baby. It feels like we've always had Shiloh. Recently, his little personality has really blossomed. He is much more alert and interactive. He smiles and babbles all the time. Eli was a very quiet baby and so we're really enjoying Shiloh's baby conversation. He also started to laugh, which is so sweet. He doesn't cry a lot- mostly just when he's not getting fed fast enough or when he wants to go to sleep. And best of all he sleeps through the night in a long 12 hour stretch. He doesn't like to be in a poopy diaper. He's rolled over a couple times, but he's not consistent. And he drools and chews on his hands all day long! I have to change his shirts several times throughout the day, because it gets soaking wet. He still spits up a lot, which Eli started copying by spitting milk everywhere. It really confuses Eli that I get mad at him when he does it, but not when the baby does. I try to explain the difference between him and his baby brother, but he doesn't seem to understand. He also started spitting to copy Shiloh drooling. I thought it would be the other way around- the younger copying the older, ha. Also, Eli has taken ownership of his brother by constantly saying, "My baby." He is a very good older brother and I am frequently touched by the love he shows Shiloh. There is nothing so sweet than watching the two interact and laugh together. I was nervous about spacing them so close together, but the more time that passes the more they seem to get along.
